Anyone know anything about BT global services ? Apparently they sell CRM systems and mange peoples networked IT systems.

I'm considering trying to get a job with them.

We use em at work.

We have a global MPLS cloud, no firewall is required, it is your network, all sites can talk to each other. You have no access to the BT routers, but from my experience you don't need it.

Even if BT does not have a presence in a country, they will co-ordinate with the local state comms provider. You only deal with BT. You simply pay the money and tell them what IP range you want.

They are also excellent, when moving locations, they handle everything, ie they would connect a new MPLS line to the new location, you move all your kit. You phone them up and they change the IPs to the new line.

However they are not cheap.

Managed by BT, so they can access your network in theory?

From a security point of view I would have your own firewall after their equipment so at least you know you have ultimate control of who gets into your network.
