Hi guys,

You'll probably be glad to hear this isn't a thread debating whether Redex is worth it or now.

I've got a bottle here which I want to use as my bike is running really rough. Sad thing is WEMOTO stuck a label over the instructions on the bottle. I tried to peel the label off but it took the instructions with it. Anyone out there know how to use this stuff? I know it's a measured dose but haven't a clue what the dosage is.

Cheers!

Well they say to pour half a bottle (125ml) into a full 50 litre tank of petrol.

Obviously the tank on your bike won't be that big, so just put the right percentage in yours. E.g. If your tank capacity is 10 litres, put 25ml in.

This... I used redex when the trumpet was running as rough as a bag of spanners. Made naff all difference.

Spend a few more quid and get some scales to balance your carbs. Dare I say it, Shifty maybe even strip the carbs down, get a can of cleaner and do it the old fashioned way!

Like Joe says, pour it down the drain, then once step one is completed, step two is to fix what the acctual problem is properly.

Confused I am bemused because it doesn't seem like your joking... A whole bottle will be enough to treat alot more than 15L~20L in a bikes fuel tank.

Yeah a full bottle does about 50L, so you should only need half for a full tank.

Not that I would use it, its been tested on Fifth Gear, there's other test videos on youtube, it actually makes your engine run rougher.

There are detergents already in fuel, if you want to decoke your engine you're probably better off occassionally spending the extra and putting a higher octane fuel like Optimax or something.
