How to change a exhaust end can

I have just bought a yoshi end can for the gsxr k3 and was wondering if anyone had i guide or just a quick write up on how to change the end can over?

Undo the bolts.

Depends if it's slip on or bolt on type. If it's bolt on just undo bolts, old off then new on and tighten again!

Changed my end can on the ER6 last week, not as easy as most bikes as it's an underslung exhaust. Bit of a pain really. Didn't help the exhaust is a few cm from the rear wheel.

But on most bikes, it's just 2 bolts and a clamp that connects where the down pipes meet.. You don't need a stand or anything.

Simple case of undoing the 3 bolts, reuse the gasket (preferably get a new one) between the flange and the end can. Tighten up and make sure:

There isn't any evidence of blowing in the flange joint - quick tip, mine was doing this because the pipe was warped meaning that it wouldn't line up properly. So, it was a simple case of trying to make it fit as much as possible. I used quicksteel/loaded epoxy to make the seal! Works fine!
All bolts are done up correctly - here's where the new gasket comes into play since the old one maybe overcompressed. Nevertheless, reusing would probably be fine. Last thing you want is the bolt to the link strap coming loose and leaving your can to rattle away!

Thanks guys went and had a look over it today and now it looks so easy, I didn't realize there was a flange with the bolt holes connected to the link pipe. I though that it was more or a slip on and do up clamp thing.(don't ask me why). But now it just looks simple
