Ive recently discovered my ultimate dream bike. The Yamaha FJR 1300!! Sooo sweet looking and excellent performance. If I could have one bike to last the rest of my life it'd be the FJR. Now excuse me while I drool some more... Mad

But this 1,300 cubic centimetres, inline four cylinder engine, electric fuel injection, 5-speed, shaft drive, 145bhp, 160mph Supersports Tourer is just divine. Ok I know im getting a bit carried away but you have to admit that this bike, with the comfort of a tourer and the cool looks and speed of a sports bike, is pretty impressive!!

hehe my uncles got a GSX1400 like the one above, except he got a 4 into 1 Akrapovic system on it, renthal bars, custom oil cooler and K&N filter on it Laughing

The FJR is OK, it's perfect for going to France etc. but it is a bit over the top for nipping to work every day.

A ZZR 600 is all I plan to get for touring anyway

RF600 Mine??? Nice! (Only cuz me has a RF400:))
If you're going tourer you can't beat the pan-euro.
August's BiKe has a test on the ST1300, FJR1300 and ZZR1200.
Pan-euro wins!! And panniers are standard:)

st1300 is the best of the large tourers and a zzr600 will 160mph touring Smile

quite scary from a 600!

i like the rf's wanted a 400cc one but the 600 is cheaper to buy and insure!

Your bike will keep its value longer for when you resell and are harder to get hold off, plus look like a 600 anyway! plus you wont get yourself killed as easily Smile
