hey,

just reading a previous thread, someone mentioned you can use your phone as a way of connecting to the internet on the laptop

i have an iphone and was wondering what i need to do this, i have unlimited data usage etc, have the cables needed im guessing, anyone able to help me here?

The easiest way is to Jailbreak the phone and use a program from Cydia called Tetherme. Cydia is like an App Store for jailbroken apps.

Get it and plug into laptop, job done. I think you have to enable tethering in the settings first though.

I paid for it but I'm sure there are some repos that will have cracked versions. I think it's only $2.

I'm saying Android owners have an inferiority complex when it comes to iPhones as demonstrated by their insistance on saying Android phones are superior at every given opportunity.

Just like all iPhone owners like to generalise about all Android users all the time?

Shame the iPhone doesn't do tethering, then again, who gets the data to make use of it any more. Apple may of bent over and took it from the Networks, but the networks are now bending us all over with the caps and data prices.
