Well I have to hand it to Shell,
In Fontwell, near Bognor Regis, West Sussex, They are now charging £1.26 a litre for their "V-Power" petrol....

And it's shit. Thumbs Up

I've done no more than 30 miles last night and used half my ten litre tank.... :s

Don't buy it. Smile

Normally 30 miles would barely move the indicator...

Fuel prices were one of the biggest factors of starting biking again. I'm starting to think that maybe the fuel companies should list how much they are selling it for and then show the total price charged, just so we know for certain how much the government taxes us. Same for beer and fags....

I've never had worse economy with the vpower, in fact normally the opposite.

It's amazing how much we get charged in the UK for petrol when in Los Angeles the average price for a litre is between £0.60 to £0.70

Yep, you read it correctly it's that cheap because they price it by the US Gallon instead, as they don't like using the metric system in USA.

1.00 Gallons (U.S.) = 0.83 Gallons (U.K.) = 3.79 Litres

You have to remember that a US gallon is one of the few things that are smaller than the rest of the world Laughing

Yes, I already knew that and it be more so if you're refuelling a jet as one RAF base personnel did one day to an American jetfighter and caused fuel to overflow, but luckily it didn't blow up!

126.9 - 128.9 locally, but I noticed it was anything from 129.9 - £135 in West Wales yesterday (in an area that's actually nearer to the refinery)

it's 129.9 at my local Tescos

I can't get any better than 90mpg on the 500 and that's doing 45mph everywhere. If petrol keeps going up I'm going to have to trade the 500 in for a CBF125.
