hello all let me rack your brains
i bought her in december and has always had a lumpy idle thought poss carb balance out and will do it some time,
now it has become a bitch to start on the button unless its hot or the odd occasion it will cold very rare though, will bump start in a instant :S and when i get to about 9000rpm feels though it miss fires or somthing its smooth then misses the pics up again this isnt constant.
im leaning towards it being carb balancing because oil + filter + sparkeys not long been done
or maybe its battery because hot would suggest charged battery cold would suggest discharged hence shit starting powers? i dont know help
thank you ____________________ 2002 zip 2002 bandit project 2004 fzs1000 2009 883r |

Could be to do with the fuel.
When i got my bike it was a non runner, wouldn't start at all, then when i cleaned the carbs out it started straight off the button.
I'd just clean the carbs out, and work from there
Carbs should take 15 minutes each, tops.
