Its not battlefields 3... It's Battlefield 3... theres no 's' in there. To be honest Battlefield 3 shoudn't be made for the console fan crew, because If it's a continue from Battlefield 2, It should only be for PC..

I'm still loving Bad Company 2, but BF2 is one of the greatest games ever for me, so really looking forward to BF3.

When they design games with consoles in mind, they tend to dum them down. I believe BF3 is being designed intended for the PC though, which is great news!

Got to admit that BF2 was simply the greatest game made, broke through barriers that had been set in PC gaming at the time. It was the only game that managed to pull me away from COD:UO.

I think BF2 was the very last game in a golden era for PC gaming, hopefully BF3 can revitalise the platform again. The fact they are making it for PC then porting it to consoles is extremely encouraging .

Don't really know enough about it to judge yet, but BC2 is the best game I've played online Love the slower, more tactical game play of BF games And of course the destructible environment is epic. A lot of the console people complain about the 30FPS thing though, and the slower controls, never really bothered me but I guess the majority of FPS players don't like it.

For those that loved BF2, have you tried Bad Company 2? Awesome game. I have a 24/7 Conquest Arica Harbour server of my own. Love that map (urban)

It was really well thought out story.online is good but more guns required and the gravity that is in bf2.

do the games vary from console to pc much?

I'm not a tech head so always put off From pc gaming.

MoH was a massive disappointment imo, got rid of it straight away. Campaign was alright but some parts were buggy and I noticed a few weird things happening, e.g. a guy drove a truck in a warehouse with baddies in, I killed the badies and inspected the truck and there's the driver just sitting there doing f' all. Online was insanely buggy, and the kill streaks were quite annoying if you were against a good team. I counted 5 spawn kills from rockets in a row once before I turned my PS3 off in rage.

I play BC2 on xBox live all the time and it's very addictive. I like the gameplay, the iso perspective and the overall pace. I also like the way the DICE servers are designed to accomodate those of us in piss-poor bandwidth areas.

I hope they keep all of this in mind for BC3.

finally another battlefield game, bad company was quite a rough patch for dice. hopefully they will be back to form with bf3.

the battlefield series were easily the best online shooters from 1942 to 2142 but then they started making bad company which was so slow and small compared to the old games.

only problem with battlefield is that they will show you loads of fancy stuff in trailers that wontmake it into the final game such as laser targetting etc.

64 players is what is needed for online play, bad company 2 felt too empty.

i just wish they would remake 1942

That's like saying only white people should be able to drive. Plus the console market is worth an absolute fortune, much more than PC so to not port a game to it would be a wasted opportunity and even though DICE are awesome they're still in it for the money (bet EA has a lot to do with it).

BF2 was an epic so hopefully BF3 will stick in my memory as awesome as before!

Cant wait !! BC2 was good but its only a stepping stone!
