My partner is travelling to Morocco in April and I am trying to find him suitable travel insurance. He is hiring an off road 650cc bike and travelling round Morocco with 2 mates. I need insurance that covers medical mainly. The bike will be covered by the hirer. Cheers.

He would be well advised to look at the foreign office website for further information.. and to keep abreast of the ongoing situation there. And what areas he should avoid. If the situation were to deteriorate any insurance will become invalid if the F.O. says: Don't travel.

Sooner or later opinions fade and the name on the tank matters not. I think that happens somewhere between 3rd and 4th gear. Enjoy the ride... everything else takes care of itself.

NCI do travel insurance that covers bikes of any size, most travel insurance policies such as those on the comparison sites will not cover you if you have an accident on anything over 50cc though everybody just ignores that, don't know if they'd actually check should you have an accident but i'd rather not risk it for the sake of a few quid.

Thats only motor insurance at the docks no travel/personal insurance is sold and they normally try to rip you off with motor insurance so most dont bother.

Ok.. I thought that covered both, but its not too hard to get medical cover in the UK..
PS.. Just check before you spend too much cash that its safe to travel in that part of the country..
Our biking holiday was ruined because of unrest in Tunisia.
