hi,
i was wondering if anyone could advise me how difficult it would be to fit an 06 gsxr headlight onto a honda hornet? what would i need to do in order to get it fixed on?

If you need to ask, probably quite difficult Smile.
Reality is, it's just a case of making up some decent brackets - but be aware that bikes likes this also tend to use the fairing to hold the lights, so you'll need to make a more sturdy mounting method than the original.

yeah i noticed the mounts looked quite flimsy around the edge of the light, ill have a look at some brackets before i buy the headlight, make sure its nots beyond my capabilities Confused

From the sides the headlight would probably look crap anyway as these areas are covered by fairings.

If you want a modern looking light, you might be better off getting a nice looking light from a modern naked bike (new hornet, new fazer, gladius etc) and modifying the original mounts.

yeah thats true, might be an idea, would definately be alot easier. anything to get rid of the ugly lights thats on at the moment Sad

Don't really see many modern sports bikes lights on naked bikes.

ive seen some really nice conversions on bandits and hornets ect, just difficult to find any decent looking stock headlights for naked bikes
