Is there any way I can copy and paste more than one field at a time into Excel.

Basically, I am trying to take fields from a website, into a list on excel.
There is about 15 fields per page, I am currently highlighting field, "CTRL C", Then clicking into Excel, and pressing "CTRL V".

It's slow, and boring.

Is there any way I can maybe press "CTRL" then click each and every name per page on the website, so it copies maybe 15 to 20 fields. Then pasting that into Excel as a list, so each field goes into a separate box on Excel?

copy and paste it into notepad save the file, and then import/open the txt file, it will then give you the options to what columns you want

Just drag over the lot and paste into excel then format the text

You can use text to columns to space it or word replace can remove bits of the strings

Aren't you able to save the webpage as an actual excel file, if I remember correctly but you have to watch auto formatting in excel in case it messes up things too?

do what MJN or soul said.

Dump the lot into excel then use Data>Text to Columns to manipulate it. Or post what you need doing up here I'm sure somebody can do it.

Keep the Ctrl key pressed and klick on all you want to paste

Right click>View Source
It will open in notepad, save the file as name.xls

A right amateurish way of saving as a spreadsheet, and you'd have to go through it to delete what you don't want
