Hi all,
The power vavle on my nsr has seized. I left it into a garage to fix but they told me that the engine has to be removed to fix (clean) it.

Is this correct..... and if so is there an easier way of clearing the valve.

Also can this damage the servo if i dont get it fixed soon.

Thanks for any help

It will cause damage to the servo.. actually there is a chance that it already has.. so get it checked up real quick.

You won't have to remove the engine out of the frame for the service.. but you will have to take the top-end off. The RC valves could be cleaned quite easily when this comes off.

You could use some oven cleaner to remove the stuff off it.. but some may disagree cause you have to be careful not to leave it on there for too long.
