Hi all!!

Can anybody tell me if the new RS4 125 4-stroke model gona be any easier to look after and a little smoother then the 2-stroke? Also, is the acceleration and top speed be any different or will it be able to keep up with the 2-stroke RS??

In terms of performance, it will probably be on par with the YZF-R125. So about 70mpg and 70mph top speed! I personally think it looks nice, but I also don't like the idea of of people confusing a 125 for the actual RSV4! It's a sheep in wolf's clothing!

For the amount that your looking to spend on one, you could easily pass your test and buy a proper 600 sports bike. I don't expect they are much shy of aboout 4k, probably 3.5k. If you take £500 off for your test, and depending on how old you are take another £300 off for insurance, your left with around 2.8k to spend give or take.

You could buy an old R1 for that Shocked

However in terms of performance Tot is right. Similar to the R125. However it will be no where near as quick as a fully de restricted 2 stroke RS125. They put out around 25bhp at the wheel give or take a few, and will do about 100mph, with 0-60mph in 7 seconds or so.

Hope that helps.
