Hi

If you want a switched live (ie, on when the ignition is on) then try the feed for the rear brake light switch.

But make sure you tap it before the switch, not after.

try it and find out.

What i said before also applies to the other points you have tried.
There will always be power going to the switch, but not on the other unless the circuit is closed.
