Switch live

Been trying to add some extra lighting to an SV, and can't find a live wire to open the relay.

The lights do work straight off my battery with the live plugged on, but not from the bikes wiring.

Anyone know where I can find one?

So far i've tried:
Horn,
Head light - High, Low and Side,
Main harness,

But non of them work.

Hi

If you want a switched live (ie, on when the ignition is on) then try the feed for the rear brake light switch.

But make sure you tap it before the switch, not after.

Surely just piggy backing the high beam should open it?

try it and find out.

What i said before also applies to the other points you have tried.
There will always be power going to the switch, but not on the other unless the circuit is closed.
