Long shot........

I need to change a reg entry that would alow me to USB a mobile phone to auto pop up with the file content window (when you connect).

Note - I have installed MTP Mass Storage drivers.

On a clean canvas three options will pop when you connect the phone. . ..
*Sync media
*Open files
*No action

I can choose 'open files' and click the tick for everytime which is fine.... it remains as I wish.

The reg entry that this modifies seems to be......

[HKEY_USERS\\S-1-5-21-3468716157-3227662048-654392228-1005\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\UserChosenExecuteHandlers] "H:\\\\?\\USB#Vid_0421&Pid_02bb#354870042120236#{14480d3f-7a47-4a75-aaef-b14f56397153}+MTPMediaPlayerArrival"="MSWPDShellNamespaceHandler"

I changed it to [HKEY_LOCAL_USERS\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\UserChosenExecuteHandlers] "H:\\\\?\\USB#Vid_0421&Pid_02bb#354870042120236#{14480d3f-7a47-4a75-aaef-b14f56397153}+MTPMediaPlayerArrival"="MSWPDShellNamespaceHandler"

Because ....... we can't account for HKEY_USERS when deploying software via Zenworks.

Anyway, this doesn't work!


Is there another key that needs a string value? ie:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\EventHandlers\MTPMediaPlayerArrival]
"MSWMDMHandler"=""
"MSWPDShellNamespaceHandler"=""


Does some defaut set-up need deleting ie:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\EventHandlersDefaultSelection\PlayDVDMovieOnArrival] @="PDVD7DXPlayDVDMovieOnArrival"

Is this possible? I do hope so and I need to remove th eoption for media syncronisation for all our new nokia mobile phone users!
