Doesn't sound 'fine', does it?
Steering could be any of many things.
If its 'tight' rather than heavy, then possibly suggests that the fork jokes are nipping the head race bearing, or the head stocks been twisted, nipping the bearing.
Possible that impcat has twisted the forks in teh jokes, also that the jokes have been pulled 'skew' on teh forks by impact, or by bend in fork stancion. Forks may be bent. Wheel spindle may be bent.....
all told, there is SOMETHING damaged in there......
So yes, we know what COULD be wrong.... anything from a loose nut to a bend or damaged frame....
How do you fix it?
Thats a different question, and it starts by getting in and inspecting all the bits mentioned to find out what isn't as it should be....
We cant do this by telepathy, for you, though I'm afraid...
You need to go mess with metal.....
Take pics, post'em we might be able to give more clues, BUT your best source of info will be the trusty Work shop manual for your bike....... you do have one dont you? ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!
