Hi Im Joe , so ive managed to blag myself a honda C70 - and want to give it a bit more power - so ive got a 26mm Carb and a pitbike exhaust im going to add to it , but how will i set up the 26mm carb for the bike i know its way to big for the bike but you know Razz or is it worth just keeping the standard c70 carb and just upjetting ? ( if so could you reccomend what jet size i would need and possably link me to it ?
Thanks very much Smile

you must be able to pick up the C90 engines on fleece-bay cheap enough, why not put one of those in if you want a peformance upgrade??

Or what about one of those 110cc pit bike engines, I think one of those should slot in without to much trouble? I think?
What about just the carb off one of those pit bike engines?

C90 barrel and piston.

The C70 is the better bike of that series. The cylinder head is much in demand by the monkeybike fraternity for fitting to modified C90 engines due to its bigger valves and hotter cam.

EDIT: I was speaking to a Honda Cub enthusiast the other weekend. He was running a 140cc pitbike engine in a C90. It needs a full rebuild every 12 hours of running time!

Would be a highly tuned 140cc easily. So a good 18bhp at least.

Previously owned a 140cc, they are okay to be fair. But prefer the reliability of the 110-125cc chinese lumps.

Obviously the honda lumps are better, but you have to use the suckage 3speed box rather than 4. Unless you swap out the gearbox for an atc or crf50 gearbox or something. Pain in the arse.

Lifan 110 engine is what I chucked in mine.

Straight swap, extra gear, lots more go. Can have manual clutch or semi auto still. I went for a semi auto for the lulz.

Goes off the speedo now and still does 120mpg.
