Just a heads up, TT racer Guy Martin has a new TV programme that Starts on Wednesday. Looks like it could be quite good, and as he's a self confessed fan of Fred Dibnah, I'm looking forward to it.

Fell asleep when catching it on iplayer at 1 last night. Very interesting and even had a few of the old codgers at work talking about it yesterday. I didn't warn them about Guy's distinct accent. A northern accent is difficult to understand at times if you're a native of London... but he was just like a northerner on coke! . Great practical engineering programme.. Weren't too keen on Fred Dibnah but Guy makes it more contemporary. Programme reminds of those childhood documentaries of Adam Hart Davies - what the victorians did for us.

Watched this on iPlayer last night, found it really interesting, food to see someone with some genuine enthusiasm and a lack of fear of being patriotic!

Ended up feeling a little bit uncomfortable though, I mean I had absloutely no idea that there was anyone out there that was that northern!

Will be watching that as soon as I can but Fred Dibnah is a legend.... Hubby uploaded virtually all his documentaries last month to a site after hours of collecting from others.
