setting up remote access

ok heres what i have
1x pc in lounge
1x pc in spare room with all the hard drives etc on it

both computer are connected wirelessly and the network is running fine (i can access the files on the server pc with the lounge pc)

but what i really want is to be able to control the server-pc
as it has bit torrent and all that jazz on it,

the lounge pc will just have video viewing and internet capabilities no utorrent or files on it


do you guys get what i want?
I've tried reading up on different site on how to do remote access, but i have come to the conclusion that im a retard, there just seems to be a missing step that my meagre brain just doesn't comprehend



so can you guys tell me what i have to do to what pc to enable my to control the server-pc with the lounge-pc
