Of my right hand! For I am no longer restricted to a meagre 33bhp!

*evil grin*

But seriously... 2 yr restriction is up

*dances around in a poofy fashion*

congrats chap! You'll defo feel the extra power but just don't too mad. Remember your throttle is going to shove you that much faster now. Ride safe and have fun!

But the one thing you have to do is find an empty road (prefereably a nice A road with no zombie pedestrian, and nail it. You'll get tunnel vision soon enough which is awesome Thumbs Up

Good show! Indeed, what are you on? If you're wanting to be a flashy-light Police rider, I think it's traditional to get yourself a BMW. Wink

Congeatulations man, does this mean that you'll now be tackling distances of up to 150 miles on a sports bike? Wink

Still glad I never had to go through that nonsense, surely having a day 2 years into riding where your bike triples in power is a much more dangerous way of going about things?

At the very least, it pretty much guarantees that you'll be experimenting with full throttle for at least the next few days!

Good luck and enjoy.

I didn't take my test until I was a bit older so skipped the restriction phase.

My sister was restricted and rode (still rides) a restricted VFR400.

She came to Le Mans last year and though she was enjoying being out on track she was getting blasted past on pretty much all the straights.

When she took out a mates GSX-R 600 she was flying round much faster than previously, and consequently being overtaken far less.

Point being she jumped off a restricted 400 onto an unrestricted 600 and was fine.

As long as you've got a bit of self control it's not a problem jumping on a higher powered bike.
