They moved the cameras ages ago so you couldn't take the short cut to avoid them. That news was out of date before it was printed.

The link posted in this thread is still old news though. It suggests you could go over the Cat 'n' Fiddle today, take the short cut and avoid a second camera, which is simply untrue.

I think the "news" in the article was that the cameras cost £800,000, were useless, and nobody is being held accountable.

But as I said last time, the first camera is still on the Macc side of the layby. So you go past the camera, pull into the layby, wait a few minutes (gives you chance to go for a clear road too) then head on up to the pub at whatever speed you like..... Smile
