Cutting a cast off

As some of you my recall I had a bike crash afew weeks ago, where I thought i'd broken my wrist but actually broken it in 2places and my hand in 3.

Now, here maybe a silly question but, the answer seems clear to me as of now.

I have a very possible job offer, and if I tell them I have a pot of there is a major chance they will not take me on.

So the question is, with a mashed hand and wrist, what is the complications of cutting my pot off after 2weeks?

I wouldn't ask unless I needed to because I am desperate for money, and need a job, but the pot is holding me back.
I reccon I could hide the pain of lifting things like I have before.

I forgot to mention the cast will be cut off with a 4 1/2 inch grinder with a slitter disc.

All should be fine.

How long should it be on for?

And for you to ask such a stupid question means that you know already...

if you trip, or knock your arm/hand there is a very high chance you will break it again.

If you lift something that puts your arm/hand under a fair bit of load you will break it again.

your choice, big risk, could end up setting your healing back 2weeks again possibly longer if the bone shatters. Which it might do as the bone is very weak at the moment.

I am sick of been in cast.

I have been using the hand as normal, despite the fractures.

today I wound the bearings into my swing arm and never felt any pain, it just swells every night when i'm not using it.

If I get a offer to start tomorrow, should I cut it off?

I can deal with pain, I'm used to breaking my fingers and still working with them facing at wrong angles.

*Took the back wheel off when I asked him to take the front right calliper of.

Also best way to get the cast off using one of them ^^^ is to stick your head in the hole and let go of the rope. Thumbs Up

Why not just see what the company says? they might be fine with it if you'll only have it on for a week or 2. Or you could cut your arm off above the cast, but that would then lead to another post along the lines of 'Haemorraging too much from arm wound, how long do I have to live?'
