My contract on my HTC touch ran out yesterday , ive been lookng at phones for quite a while but nothing is really grabbing my eye.

Theres so many good bad reviews about each phone .

I was thinking about the sony ericsson xperia x10 or the nokia n8 ?

Anyone got any ideas on these or maybe on another phone ive been reading the reviews on techradar but really cant decide Confused Brick Wall

1. N8 is a fail.

2. Techradar is pretty damn good at reviewing phones.

I'm using a Nokia E61.

May be about to change to a Blackberry Curve 8900.

A battered, bruised and cracked iPhone 3G that I really should upgrade after nearly 2.5 years.

HTC Desire, didn't fancy the Desire HD, battery life is supposed to be pretty poor?

Nice phone, like it a lot.

HTC Touch2 (dont search for that though, search HTC T3333)

nice little phone, WM6.5, no (free) satnav though. good for browsing the net, and a few nice free apps, but cant be jailbroke like idevices. which sucks when apps are like £3 each (for something naff). not really a big dev scene behind it either

my contracts up in a month or so, and im deffo going HTC again. probably a desire

I'm cheap and on PAYG, so I'm using an "Orange San Francisco".
Amazing phone for the price (~£90), and a community of modders at

Just bought an HTC Desire HD, and I likes it alot. Cheaper than an iphone and reassuringly large in the hand.

Battery life is short though. Its a replacement for a Nokia 5800 - not a bad phone, just not superbly brilliant.

When upgrade time comes around on my contract I'm going to get a Wildfire for the eldest kid as her first phone.

Currently a Blackberry Bold 9700.

Considering a HTC Desire HD for my next one. The problem is I hate the fact that it's all touch screen. Why the hell can't I find a decent phone with a hardwire keyboard and android?

Stupid new-fangled rubbish!

HTC Desire and for the first time in my life I haven't been thinking about cancelling my contract early to get a new phone and i'm already 12 months in! I honestly don't think I could get much more from a mobile now.

Have you used a touch screen? The keyboard on my iPhone is much easier to use than the keyboard on my old N97.

BlackBerry Bold 9700 up until last week when I decided to replace the scratched screen lens and completely bust the LCD panel.
(still got 6 months contract on it and no insurace).

Bit the bullet and took out an additional contract for a HTC Desire HD (and bought a spare battery).

I'm missing the Blackberry though - it was very easy to use and emails/messaging was a piece of piss on the qwerty keys compared to touchscreen. But, the HTC is still a very nice phone and there's a lot more you can do with it. I now spend most of my day swishing my fingers around on Google Earth!
