My fork seals are weeping, and Ohlins want £160 + VAT to put new seals in. I need this tool to take the caps off so I can get the stanchion out, wondered if anyone knows where to buy one from? apriliagenuineparts.co.uk don't have any in and have said all Aprilia places have run dry as Aprilia UK are waiting for a load from Ohlins.
Harris Performance have one in but want £70 +VAT! If an Aprilia place had one in it'd be £18
I wondered if anyone had a bike with Ohlins forks and had got this tool from anywhere else? I know a few Ducati's use Ohlins. |

I've never welded anything before, don't have a welder, and don't particularly have anything lying around to make it out of if I did.
Although, as shit as it might look I might be able to make something out of wood and some dowels Apparently the caps aren't on too tight.
Might have a go at the weekend. |
