Looking for a netbook with HDMI out

Afternoon all,
I'm looking for a netbook, seeing as the woman keeps nicking my laptop. Seems they all have a pretty similar spec and cost between £200 and £300. Can anyone recommend one with an HDMI output, preferably a dual core processor if it makes a difference, and a preferably a higher resolution than 600 vertical lines.

Not all that fussed about hard drive size, the videos sit on the big hard drive in the main laptop. Long battery life is good, but they all seem to manage 4 hours. Budget is up to £300.

I've got and currently use the Acer Aspire One D255...8 hour battery life, 250G HD and HDMI output ( I believe, not near the box but there's a big jack on the right side that I'm sure it's for )...

So far can't fault it, does everything I ask of it, payed £200 on a sale at Best Buy during Christmas, usual price is £260 I believe...

Hmm. Looks like the HDMI port isn't one to get too hung up on. It's not a huge necessity, I normally watch media on the laptop through the Xbox using windows media centre.

Will go over to a shop and have a look at the Acer D255. The dual boot windows/android looks interesting. Comet seem to be doing a deal with a free 3G dongle as well.

Went for an Acer Aspire one D255 in the end. Currys had the base model on special offer for a shade under £180. Awful place to try and buy something, but cheap netbook.

Is it true they can dual boot Android aswell? Is it any good as far as games and that go?

It does dual boot android, but android on it is extremely shit, just feels like ubuntu without any features. My phone runs android better.

Mine has the 4 hour battery, which lasts more like 3 so far but I have been pushing it quite hard. There isn't any performance to speak of, so pushing it hard just drains the battery and doesn't anything fast. Good for internet and such, and a surprisingly good keyboard and touchpad.

Models running windows XP are quite a bit cheaper, like my one. Took me a couple of hours to get 7 on here using a memory stick.

Worth flashing the BIOS with the latest firmware, which is on the Acer website. Very light weight, fairly cool running which is good as the processor sits under your left hand AFAIK, and quite good speakers. Better than the speakers on my thinkpad at least.
