Evening all. I realise this post is about as interesting as watching dry paint go hard so I apologize in advance for that, but i'm just wondering if anyone on here has any knowledge of media studies and can do me a massive favour and help me out. i've been doing various assignments for university all day and i'm now on the final one and my mind has gone totally blank Confused

I need to write an essay regarding Charlies Angels: Full Throttle Rolling Eyes

Has anyone got any ideas as to what could be a good introductory statement indicating what they believe are the central themes, preoccupations and overall style of the film.

i'm too tired for all this now so i'm gonna go to bed but any help would be very much appreciated in morning. Not got much time and it needs to be handed in by monday.

Cheers Thumbs Up

the only question I have is.... did you *choose* that topic?

if the answer is yes... what's wrong with you?!
if the answer is no.... what's wrong with your lecturers?! and what on earth course are you doing?

I only have knowledge of Media Studies up to GCSE level.

Not much help really. What aspect of the film do you have to look at? Technical (Camera etc) or plotlines?

central themes : ooh look women for guys to drool over
preoccupations : making as much money as possible from the cinema-going public with as little effort as possible
overall style of the film : pathetic

sorry, with an honours degree in Film and TV you'd think I'd be more useful.. problem is I've never watched the film - or even the first one for that matter!

I thought the first CA film was actually quite good, got the tongue-in-cheek references to the original series just right, but the second one was worse than pants. Nothing more than a series of pop videos strung together, and not even good ones at that.

As for this being the subject of a serious essay, well Doh!

(oh and I go and see a lot of crap films cos with my tenner a month card they don't really cost me anything... Thinking )

I'm doing a degree in media studies but its just this one particular wanky module thats getting on my tits. I've decided i'm just gonna write any old bollocks which I think will fill the marking criteria enough to get me a basic pass. Im only in first year so grade doesn't matter at all because they don't contribute to final grade.

I hear what you're saying izzi but I don't think my tutor will and your comments fall slightly short of 2500 words Laughing

Maybe not but I thought they made a good synopsis. Useful to start/end the essay with?

An essay on Charlies Angels: Full Throttle

The subject of Charlies Angels: Full Throttle is a controversial issue. Advancments in Charlies Angels: Full Throttle can be linked to many areas. While it is becoming a hot topic for debate, it is impossible to overestimate its impact on modern thought. Often it is seen as both a help and a hinderence to the aristocracy, whom I can say no more about due to legal restrictions. Complex though it is I shall now attempt to provide an exaustive report on Charlies Angels: Full Throttle and its numerous 'industries'.

Social Factors

Society begins and ends with Charlies Angels: Full Throttle. Upon Peter Pinkleton-PishPosh's return to Britain he remarked 'class will refelect the inner hero' [1], he borrowed much from Charlies Angels: Full Throttle. Both tyranny and democracy are tried and questioned. Yet Charlies Angels: Full Throttle raises the question 'why?'

Nothing represents every day life better than Charlies Angels: Full Throttle, and I mean nothing. It has been said that the one thing in society which could survive a nuclear attack is Charlies Angels: Full Throttle. This is incorrect, actually cockroaches are the only thing which can survive a nuclear attack.

Economic Factors

Derived from 'oikonomikos,' which means skilled in household management, the word economics is synonymous with Charlies Angels: Full Throttle. We shall examine the Custard-Not-Mustard model, as is standard in this case.

Annual Military Budget https://radioworldwide.gospelcom.net/essaygenerator/images/graph_down_3.gif
                                     Charlies Angels: Full Throttle

There are a number of reasons which may be attributed to this unquestionable correlation. Well the annual military budget sings a very different tune. Perhaps to coin a phrase Charlies Angels: Full Throttleeconomics will be the buzz word of the century

Political Factors

Politics, we all agree, is a fact of life. Comparing the ideals of the young with the reality felt by their elders is like contrasting the vote of the man in the street with that of one more accustomed to Charlies Angels: Full Throttle.

In the words of jazz singer Augstin T. Time 'political change changes politics, but where does it go?' [2] This quotation leads me to suspect that he was not unaccustomed to Charlies Angels: Full Throttle. It speaks volumes. To paraphrase, the quote is saying 'Charlies Angels: Full Throttle wins votes.' Simple as that.
The question which we must each ask ourselves is, will we allow Charlies Angels: Full Throttle to win our vote?

Conclusion

To conclude, Charlies Angels: Full Throttle is, to use the language of the streets 'Super Cool.' It enlightens our daily lives, influences the influencers, and always chips in.

I will leave you with the words of Hollywood's Beyonce Zeta-Jones 'I demand Charlies Angels: Full Throttle, nothing more nothing less.' [3]
