Well I changed my gear oil about a week an a half ago and have done nearly 200 miles since... But when i came out of work yesterday I discovered a substantial puddle of oil underneath the bike! I checked the bolt that lets out gear oil and it was tight... It appears 2 b dripping down the right side of the engine block... Im totally afraid my baby's in trouble! Any ideas?

Did you over fill it? Check the level.

You should be able to establish fairy easily where it's coming from, follow the oil trail.

I don't think so, cause 200 miles is a fairly long time 2 go without anything happening... The sight glass is at the proper level, bt when i start it it jus drains completely out of there for a few seconds an then comes back 2 jus over the min. level! This is gettin to be quite tedious... Thanx

Hi

What colour is the oil on the floor? Not red or black is it? It could be 2 stroke oil (worrying if the pipe to the carb has become disconnected) or even just a skanky mix of oil and petrol blown back into the airbox and then draining onto the floor.

Thanx, unfortunately the gear oil i used is d same colour as my 2 stroke (Repsol 2T)... I was thinkin maybe its 2 stroke... I'll lift the tank an check the level!

You need to find out exactly where the leak is!
The bottom of the engine could be caked in oil but the leak could be from the top of the engine.
If you find the source of the leak you will solve the mystery. Very Happy

dude, if there is a chance that is two stroke oil, then put some pre mix into ur fuel, cos if the 2/ oil aint getting thru, ur gonna have mega problems. Then find out where its leaking!
