Hello there,

I'm new to the forums here so hello to all Smile

Got my mod 1 on Sunday lunchtime doing about 3-4 hours training with my instructor before hand and just wanted to know if theres any tips or anything to calm the nerves cause I know for a fact I'll be bricking it haha!

I've watched people doing mod 1 on youtube theres a couple vids on there and looks reasonably straight forward well at least i hope its going to be! Very Happy

Thanks in advance

You'll be fine! Just make sure you get out of church on time.

Deep breath before every stage. Take your time. Take rear observations as though you were on the road. Stabilise rear deflectors. Watch for enemy fighters. Stay on target. Stay on target. They came... from behind...

I passed my Mod 1 on Tuesday, although I thought I had no chance beforehand because my practice was getting worse rather than improving! Rolling Eyes

Simply put, the actual test centre is gigantic. You have all the time you could need and all the room. Take your time and take all the room and you won't have a problem.

Oh yeah, and the swerve is easy as long as you trust your counter-steer. Very Happy

Good luck!

Hello all,

Thanks for your good lucks! It was a good day! Passed Very Happy

3 minors though for observations.

Pass is a pass I guess! Very Happy

Instructor purposely made all the training harder so when we actually got to the test centre the actual manoevurs were a piece of cake!

Gonna book mod2 training and test tomorrow for the end of the month Very Happy

Only 1 more hurdle! Very Happy

Congratulations! It's an annoying obstacle to go around in order for you to do the road test. But It's nice to know that it is out the way, and now you can practice and have your full attention on what to do when riding on the road. Good luck for MOD 2

Congrat mate.

Personally I like the idea of manouvres on one test then just ride on your final test. It means you can pass mod 1 and fail mod 2 without having to go back. I passed all mine first time nut I can see benefits to two mods. I didnt like the fees involved for each section though.
