Hey there! I am new to the forum, actually I am not really into IT stuff, so it took me a while to understand how it all works.... Thanks God my mechanics is much better, so my Agusta Brutale is in safe hands!
Really not good with technology, but now I was wondering about a GPS for my bike....are there any good? Easy to use?
My local bike dealer suggested me a Garmin Zumo. Is it good? I googled it -they say so:?: - and I found this:
https://www.shoppydoo.co.uk/prices-gps-garmin_zumo_motorcycle.html
It's much cheaper than the one my local dealer offered me - at over 400 quid -, should I buy it online? Is it safe? never did it before....
Any help much appeciated! |

Welcome to BCF!
pictures of your bike up please.. " rel="nofollow" target="external_link_2">https://brproductions.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/fap.gif....
I use my phone for a satnav (has it built in) and it works perfectly when I need it to, havent used a Garmin GPS but have used tomtom's in the past and they work as good as I'd expect...I'm sure someone will be along shortly to discuss this in more detail anyway. ____________________ Bike: Currently Bikeless... The cheapest place in your link is Play.com. I have used Play.com many many times int he past, they are good. Quick, reliable and if there are issues they refund quickly. Stick to reputable sites like Play, Amazon and you have lots of comeback. I have only ever had issues buying online when I have used eBay - there are bargains to be had but eBay policies are criminal to say the least.
P.S. I have a tomtom go 520 that I tie to my bike every now and again, works well on a bike just in my instance there is no sound (I could quite easily fit up some headphones etc) so it can be easy to lose your place in a busy area. |
