Get a plug put in it I wouldnt do too much riding on it like that, if it pops out = instant flat could be fatal, better to be safe then sorry  ____________________ A2 Passed 18/6/10 |

Would not risk it... personally.. if it pops whilst you are riding hard/overtaking.. thats going to end up more than £130 for a tyre... might not even be that nice for yourself
Either way its your call... When I had G's bike the rear tyre needed changing anyway.. but I managed to get a nail through the tread AND the sidewall. Rode <20mph to the garage to change it.
Wouldnt consider riding a bike with metal sticking out of it  |

If the bike has tubed tyres, just inspect the tube to make sure it hasn't got any leaks.

If the tyre will take a tube , fitting one could save you buying a new tyre , have done it a few times on cars
I would go to a friendly tyre shop & ask them to inspect it & there advice  ____________________ If you can't fix it with a hammer , use your head . |

What tyre. As some like Avon have a free replacement if less than x m/m of thread are used. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |
