Picking up a K7 on Friday. Any tips regarding tyres, suspension settings, accessories, particularly exhausts as it has the standard system.
The bike is black/grey, 3,400m, has braided lines, adjustable aftermarket rear-sets. The tyres on it now are Maxxis supermaxx sports? anybody ever used them?
cheers,

OGR

The standard GP style silencer has the Catalytic converter built into it so most of the after market exhausts that claim to be road legal may not pass an MOT because it has been removed, so just be aware of that, not sure if you need to bypass the lambda sensor in a 750, I think that was just the 1000 iirc.

Also when they first came out some of the cheaper cans companies were selling end cans without the link pipe, so make sure one is included in whatever you buy.

There is no emmisions test on bikes so the missing cat should not be an issue, especially if the tester is a biker who likes the noise, guy I take the SV to keeps telling me to get the baffle out Thumbs Up Laughing

Look up the factory settings for anything adjustable and put them back to stock, much better starting point for tweaking the suspension ect to your preferences
