I've looked all over google and my handbook for this and yet no luck so far. Is there are recommended combined weight you can put on the frame? I've calculated that me and a mate that wants to come along on a ride have a combined weight of 33 st. Would it overload the bike?
And no, don't have a clue how to adjust the suspension ____________________ Current: 2007 VFR800; Ex: 2001 YZF600R Thundercat

On my hornet there is a sticker on the chain guard about the tire pressure, it also says the max weight that the bike can handle.
It should also be in the manual ____________________ CBT: 04/2010 -> Theory: 09/2010 -> MOD1 & 2: 10/2010 (That's right baby, both on same day)

Me and my old man have been out on his '99 zx9r ninja today, I weigh something like 17st (cant remember last time I weighed myself tbh) and he probably weighs 12-13st... The bike handled and performed fine, saw 3-figures indicated a few times on the motorway coming back home.
Your bike should be ok imo, just be more wary of handling as it may be weird compared to riding solo and don't attempt any wheelies without clearing it with your pillion first.. ____________________ Bike: Currently Bikeless... Gahh |

I estimate that when me and the gf go around europe this summer we will be putting a load of 200-220kg on the bike and the manual says 180kg max. Not gonna be pulling wheelies or flying over speed bumps just taking it easy so I'm not worried ____________________ preivious : 2007 Skyjet 125 (died), 1991 gsf400 (problems, rotting in garden)

Thanks for the replies. I don't have anything regarding load capacity in the manual, couldn't find anything in Google either
So, two of us total weight about 205-210 kg shouldn't be a problem on a short run with no speed humps ____________________ Current: 2007 VFR800; Ex: 2001 YZF600R Thundercat
