Youtube makes me think everyone's a fucking retard

Quote:
is this staged or did you just somehow know it was getting stolen and you set up a camera?

Uh... It's a CCTV camera. It's there to catch shit like this.

Quote:

Also why would you just leave it on the street?! Its a bike, not a tank, more vulnerable to get stolen.

It's London, you can see there's no garages in the houses behind it and the "gardens" are puny.

people are blaming the owner of the bike, but its not his fault. its london, where else would he park it? most people dont expect people to be wankers and steal bikes either.

I would lock it to a lamp post and cover it up at the least.

Do you mean "obstructed"??

If so, then i'd just put it on the pavement.

And he knows he is in london, so putting an alarm or even an alarmed disk lock would of helped a lot.

Don't get me wrong, i feel sorry for the guy, but no attempts were made to prevent this.

Kinda like Picasso?

Agree with trying to lock it to a lamp post though, just ask one of his neighbours if they could park a few feet away from one

You can get fined for parking on the pavement if the council get pissy about it.

It wasn't rolled away so I'm guessing it was locked in some way other than steering lock only.

Fair enough, in that case he should have spoke to a neighbour to keep a bit of room, its not hard really, and by the looks of the front gardens there is enough room to shove a bike and an anchor there, 'cos if it isn't locked to anything its pointless.

They're like hyenas. First one comes sniffing around, then the pack gathers, looking for weaknesses. Sensing that their prey is vulnerable, they close in, and drag their helpless victim away to dispose of at their leisure.

I propose a solution:
