Leaving wilts about 1pm Thurs 14th, heading to tunnel and on to Paris to make a delivery first thing Friday.
Will spend bit of time pissing about round Paris and seeing the sights and grabbing a few more pics before heading back.

Will be roughing it, maybe a roadside motel if the weather turns to shit.

If you fancy a ride out down to paris give me a PM

Get a chance to take one like this of yours.

well, crashed out in a motel now, just outside Paris, bargain basement pad for about £24.
Done 440 miles today and looks like i'll be delivering in the morning and then heading back to uk and milton keynes and coming straight back out here with another one. Shocked

Everybody with a bike needs to do something like this.

Even though i spend all day every day on my bike i still plan to have a couple of weeks touring later in the year.

It was looking a bit dismal last night, rained for a few hours but looking ok now.

Off into paris city centre now to drop off this hard drive and then get a few snaps

I looked up the company on your panniers. Do you work for them or are you self employed?

continental delivery does seem interesting.

Sorry, what a tit.

Got back at 8 tonight. Spent all morning pissing about in Paris before heading back in the rain Crying or Very sad

Back out to France Sunday night but it'll be a flying visit to Brittany, as far as spending 8 hours on a ferry is flying

Maybe we should arrange a rough it BCF does paris trip.
Leave on a friday head back for late sunday.
Only 2 nights in some cheepo motel like the 'F1' I stayed in will cost about £50 and the room has a bunk so if 2 share a room it's only £25 plus fuel and tunnel for a weekend in paris.

Wow that does look amazing, one thing that has always confused me though is how do you know where your going.. surely you must get lost a lot of the time.

Also what Cc would you recommend for a trip like that just to keep comfy ?

I've done this paris run on a zzr600 and it was fine but use a ST1100 Pan European usually, done a few 8/900 mile days on these and been still able to walk.

Not getting lost, sat nav Very Happy
Although I've been doing this long enough I could get to a lot of the major euro cities without using it now

All went kind of to plan, left Salisbury 2pm, went and had a front tyre fitted on way to collect in Fulham at 4:30pm

Straight to the tunnel and on to France.
Delivered in Paris 10:30pm and went and took a few snaps.

Cheap hotel 39 euros and left paris 10am, into calais for a couple of ham and cheese baguettes for on the way back.

On the M25 i get a call, then off to Corfe Castle in dorset to pick up a laptop to go to Brighton, bag of chips on the seafront and back to Salisbury for 8pm, all in, 32 hours, 950 miles+

The route
