The insurance are crooks for confirming that the insured has the licence they state?
Or has the insured told a porky pie (meaning he is the crook)? ____________________ Fallen Angel "Nae sniffing my seat now!!!!! "

Well, what type of license did you tell them you had? Some insurers don't even ask if you're on a 25kW restriction, they only distinguish between provisional / A1 / A. It's your policy, we can't tell you what's on it.
And what "certificate" are you on about? I mean, do the terms and conditions of your insurance actually say that you're required to show evidence that your bike is restricted, and if so, what kind of evidence?
If it's not a condition of your policy that you prove restriction, then it's not a condition of your policy. If they now ask you to prove that the bike is restricted, your line should be that it's available for them to test, at your convenience and their cost, including provision of a courtesy bike while they collect, test and return your bike.
Don't sweat it until you've actually established that there's going to be a problem. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Noticed that some ins co have a box asking if you permit them to contact DVLA to confirm you licence details.
Tickin thhis should ensure you don't have to send a copy..... Unless the details the dvla hold are diffrent to what you entered ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |
