Thursday night heading home from work I encountered 1 crazy car driver and 1 crazy community poilce officer.

1. Crazy car driver.

Came off a roundabout and onto a dual carriageway, over took a car, then noticed headlights coming towards me. My first thought was that they were on the other side of the dual carriageway. I was wrong. The dozy twat was coming down the dual carriageway the wrong way. 3 seconds earlier I would have had a head on with them.

2. Crazy CPO.

I was almost home (in a 30 zone), Anyhow I seen someone start to step out from betwen some parked cars (no high viz and wearing dark clothes) they continued to step into the middle of the road, so I made an evasive manouver, just as he raised his hand for me to stop. I had a fraction of a second to decide. Could not stop safely and so continued home.

My issue is WTF did he think he was doing, If I didn't swerve I would have hit him. And guess who would have been prosecuted.

PCSOs do get paid, it's SPCs, Special Police Constables who are the volunteers.

But I agree, the PCSO's I have come across are uneducated monkeys, we've had issues with them here and they made some very prejudicial opinionated comments over which the law has no jurisdiction.

Heck cyclists don't stop for the bicycle Police.

I saw one guy do a red light at Totenham Hale, and 20 metres down the road a copper standing with his bicycle put his hands up.

The cyclist just rode on, then sprinted and the Copper jumps on his bike, clumsilly pedals on a gear for going up Mt Everest, starts changing and looks like a complete as the cyclist makes 100 metres on him at prob 30 MPH while he is doing 12 or so.

I wouldn't stop for a PCSO even if I was on foot they have no power to stop or demand ID any more than I do as a security officer

Yup, Police Reform Act 2002 Section 4. In practice, Plastic Plod also tend to believe that they have the power to invent new powers and offences whenever they feel like it.

Some things to be aware of.

1) A Plastic Plod can only detain you for 30 minutes until a grown up arrives to take over.

2) You can elect to be accompanied to a police station instead. The wording implies that it's your choice.

3) It is an offence to "make off" while being detained, with up to a £1000 fine. However, if you really want to try it on, the Plastic Plod doesn't have any more powers of genuine arrest than Joe Bloggs, and I don't believe that the offence of "making off" would be citizen-arrestable, so they have no grounds to use force (reasonable or otherwise) to detain you. If you are going to kick off, be sure you have witnesses.
