Evenin' all,
I'm no betting man, but I wish to place a bet on the following scenario:

Any Spaniard to finish on the podium in all three races (125, Moto2 & GP) for the entire seasons races.

So it's just one bet on the whole season of races for any Spaniard to finish on the podium in 125, Moto2 & GP races.

Where can I place such a bet? I've been into my local William Hill & they said, 'Sorry, computer says, no', & for me to try online.

Any help would be mucho helpful.

Cheers,

Rich

18 out of 18 events last year had a spanish WINNER in one class, that includes the USA where motoGP was the only class.
12 out of 17 had spanish winners in 2 events
7 out of 18 has all spanish winners in every class

So i think your odds would be appalling. In fact you'd get very good odds betting against it!

Hmm, not sure about that one...
If the bike stays as it is, it's certain that he won't. If they make that bike great, it's certain he will. So thats really a bet on ducati's development process really. Which an odd thing to bet on Razz

Can i place a bet on cal crutchlow being the worst british motogp tech 3 rider? Laughing

Last season Spies was 6th
2009 Toseland 11th
2008 Toseland 8th

all during FP1 at Qatar, Crutchlow was 14th. So Spies was lucky timing wise to be in the junior Yamaha team the year rossi was leaving. Cal has no such luck with all the factory teams fully booked for now. So he will have to be as good as edwards at least to keep his ride, which i don't see happening this season anyway. Who know what he might be able to do next season, but i can;t help but feel he's got a ride purely based on nationality.

I'd happily put a few pennies on Spies winning. He done well last year and moving to Yamaha might bring him a title.

Agreed but I think if Ben pulls off a few wins in the first few races and gets ahead of Lorrenzo then it might tip the scales in his favour.

Rossi and Ben Spies are definitely worth a punt!

Crutchlow qualified 8th.......... he has the potential considering his limited experience.

In his first season of motogp Toesland qualified 2nd at Qatar. His carrer in motoGP went crap.
I think the vast majority of times superbikers going into motoGP have things very tough. I think the Moto2 boys are much more likely to do well. Bradly smith is on a Tech 3 bike in moto2 and would be the natural choice to replace crutchlow when he goes back to superbikes Wink

Things were very different when toseland qualified 2nd....... mainly the fact the michelins actually worked for the 1st row of the grid

I only ever watch the GP on EuroSport. The BBC coverage is fine but the commentators make it for me on EuroSport Thumbs Up

Eurosport don't have the GP live though which is annoying.
