Basically looking for a cheap runabout for day to day. Have had the 1200n's before and they are fine for what I need.
My question is this one:

Obviously it's been a cat jobby but if it's been repaired well enough .....
Can anybody see anything on it thats blatantly wrong?

My other question is 'if it's already been paid out for then what happens if it gets smacked again? Will they pay out twice?'

Maybe I'm being dense, but what's the yellow panel under the seat all about? Looks like the back-wheel has been rubbing against it.

It's a undertray mate, goes with the rear end to tidy it all up and get rid of the ghastly stock rear mudguard.

if you want a bandit, i know where there is a very clean one, mostly standard, in a dealers, R reg 29k miles for £1450 and the guy gives a really good 3 month warranty.

i have bought 2 bikes from them, the guy is a bit strange but they are alright and stick by their warranty, gave me a new C+S on my firestorm which i would have expected any dealer to skip out of on "wear and tear" bullshit!

As above, very overpriced for a straight bike. Rediculous for a Cat C job.

Worth £800 tops.

Yeah I looked at both of those, in fact all of the 1200n's on ebay at the moment

I could kick myself now as I passed one up in late November. 01 plate and had been dropped at standstill. Apparently fell of it's sidestand.
Very minimal marking but so close to xmas I didn't have the £1400 ono he wanted for it.

I figured I would just pick one up in the early spring how wrong....
