dyndns or no-ip

Hi

I have used the free services of dyndns for some years to connect to my home network.

Time has come to buy a domain name of my own and use dns services to direct to my dynamic IP at home.

I plan to run all the normal mail, web, ftp and vpn services

The two main providers I know about are dyndns and no-ip. Do any of you have alternative suggestions? If you use one of the above what's your experience?

I used both about 5 years ago, and found no-ip to be the more reliable. However, as I said this was 5 years ago, a lot can change in that time!

Nowadays I have a static IP and just have my domain name managed by google apps (I'm lazy)

I have my own domain and have used dyndns for years with no problem.

My current router supports it so I don't need a client on the pc so even better

What I want to know is do sub domains and wild cards work well..

How do they handle the MX records and is TTL really quicker

At the moment I only get my domain "myname.dyndns.cc" and what to work is "servername.myname.dyndns.cc" to resole to a specific machine..

I want to have sub domains be requested and internal dns direct to the appropriate IIS box
