Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if there's a retro-fit tilt gauge available for motorcycles??

I thought that with the weather improving, and the possibility of getting a track day sometime this summer, it might be interesting to try out a tilt gauge (similar to the MotoGP onboard info)

Yes there is. Not exactly designed for what you want but capable of measuring roll and pitch (wheelies):

If that's accelerometer based then it won't work on a bike, would need to be a gyro me thinks.

Nope, anything that works based on gravity will get messed up as you corner when leaned over.

It's perfectly possible for an accelerometer to measure roll angle if it measures accurately in all three axes. As the bike rolls on its side it accelerates and then decelerates in the lateral axis, which can be measured.

Looking at the Apple App store I came across an app called i-Lean Lite. Its free, and it appears to show your lean angle on a bike... Maybe it works?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
