After vowing not to ride on the roads over here in India it took me all of 4 weeks to get a bike!

I'm now the proud owner of a Bajaj Pulsar 180! Don't laugh too much, it's considered a big bike here.

Make sure you ride in local customary style.

I'm only here for a year and a friend of a friend was selling a 180 - saved me weeks of looking around. There's only about 4bhp difference anyway.

4 HP is a lot! In the world of small bikes, 5MPH is a bragging right!

How is it over there?

You weren't even trying when you loaded that thing up. I've seen whol families on them. I actually quite like it, it's much more utilitarian, but the roads over here don't allow much in the way of power and sportiness.

I'll try taking a video with my helmet cam one morning. Cattle, crazy taxis and the occasional elephant male for an interesting ride!
