Just re-designing my works website, currently making the first template and it's pretty much done however I've done something in one of the later edits which is making it display wrong in Firefox and I can't for the life of me work out what it is.
Website is here https://www.walkerelectrical.co.uk/newsitetest/
It displays fine in Internet Explorer but theres a gap on the right side in FireFox it was fine earlier but now has started doing this since I added the image maps for the top menu and the affiliate logos at the bottom.. however if I remove the image maps the problem is STILL there so I don't think it's related to that.
Would appreciate if someone can have a look see what the fook I've done?? Because I'm getting stressed with it, it's holding me up and it's probably something simple! My coding isn't that great by the way, I'm not a pro just winging it! Website is built from scratch in HTML and some CSS written from ground up by myself which is probably why it sucks ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

Hi
If you look at the table row with the l/h menu and the main image in it there is another table in the centre column (which will force the width of all the centre cells on each row). That table had 2 columns and they forced the width to wider than 999px. I think you have fixed one of those columns widths with your change.
Also worth running it through the html validator to check for any slightly dodgy tags.
All the best

Finally, got it compliant! I won a badge for my efforts
so now that its fully compliant what does that actually acheieve? does it just mean that it'll display properly on all browsers and does it improve search engine optimization or anything like that? ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |
