60th Birthday Gift Ideas

It's my step-mums 60th this next month and I'm completely stumped on a gift for her. She's a young 60 and I don't want to rub it in. Also, she's a bit 'classy' so I can't palm off any cheap tat (not that I would!) Also, I only ever send cards - never bought her a gift before so I'd like it to be something memorable and special.

Any ideas?!

my dad's that age and has got everything he needs and has hobbies that are expensive and complicated so he's a nightmare to buy for. Rolling Eyes

Most recent birthday i went to the local Photographic Archive and got some prints made of old photo's of his village from the time when he was a nipper. Brought some nice frames to put them in etc. Not an expensive gift but something unusual that he really liked and wouldn't have thought of getting for himself. Thumbs Up

How about a ride in a hot air balloon? My mum loved it. You can get packages with champagne etc thrown in. Apparently it's eerily quiet, and obviously you get to see some great views as well.

Of course, a big fist-shaped butt-plug is acceptable as well. Do you know her favourite colour? It probably comes in a range...
