went with my bike club as a group, good laugh, eventually I managed about 100 yards, I did finally relax and even managed to smile, though I'm frowning in all the pics Rolling Eyes

I think it's one of those sticks that cuts out the engine when the bike reaches a certain height in the wheelie. Stops it going over apparently!

Illegal or not... if I was doing wheelies, id prefer my chin stayed connected to my face when i flip it Laughing

Given the fact ive totally obliterated the front of my helmet in a crash... theres no way my face would be close to normal had I worn that helmet, dude... you've got balls, BIG titanium balls..

Cool pictures.
Gay helmet!

Love the concept of the wheelie school, but a proper wheelie is once the bike is at a point where it is balanced, and requires little power to hold the front wheel up, surely?

And those safety rod things would cut the bike out, way before balance point.
As engine braking isn't enough to bring a bikes front end back down if you do run through the balance point.

You can move the rod up and down.. so you can make it so that the wheel just gets off the ground before cutting out, or almost flipped..

I got about 4hours, I think it was worth it. I was with 7 mates and we were all taking the mick out of each other and messing about. 15 mins on, 15 mins off. 8 of us, using 4 bikes.
Got to sit on the back with the instructor as he wheelied the length of the runway and did stoppies. I also got to burn the back tyre out at the end on his bike too Laughing
