Hai guiiiize! I finally got her Smile Smoking a bit, appears whitish in colour and bogs out on full throttle so I think a fuel system clean is in order...
Full MOT too... Free brand new contact points. 250 quid on a 1972 plate
What do ya think?

Just took her for a quick blast, smoke seems to be a lil blueish... So I suspect she's burning oil but it stops smoking after a minute.
She's a noisy old buzzbox!
30 on flat, 34 downhill 25mph up a slight incline. Was fun actually, feels like I'm doin 30 at 20...

Its pretty, elegant, utilitarian, delicate and cool. All in one.

Like Steve McQueen on ice skates carrying a chainsaw while jumping a fence into Switzerland.

What's it like on human power mode? aka pedalling. Can you just potter along the cycle lane or does the engine have to be off or something? Cool bike mister Thumbs Up

If it's anything like my old V50P, 10 turns of the pedals is one revolution of the rear wheel Smile

Actually rides like a slightly heavy BMX. On the flat it's VERY usable on pedal only mode.

Day 3 of ownership. Had cutting out issues due to the carb being filled with crap (See attatchment) Cleaned that out... reassembled carb, but the bit that the fuel hose connects to on the carb was loose, So when I left the fuel tap on she slowly emptied the contents of her tank all over my mums garage floor. Not good =(

Overall, She's sluggish... twichy on handling with leading link front suspension and the weight distribution is all wrong. But all this puts a big smile on my face. I love the attention the bike gets.

I gotta admit, She's too slow for anywhere with even a slight incline unless you dont mind holding up traffic like I do =P

Also hand signalling is fun =P
