Anyone got this / still play it?

Just picked up a copy for £11.50 from good old ebay Razz

I'm lovin' it so much, it feels so smooth - except for when the host leaves..

But yeah sniping is awsome it feels so rewarding to snipe on this game and it's bringing back some old memories from when I used to play this!

In terms of actually having a laugh and fun, this is the better than Black Ops and Mw2 In my opinion Very Happy

Thumbs Up

Yeah, this was the last COD that i loved to be honest. Probably because i began being a COD fan at number 2. I didn't buy 3, but when i bought COD4 i was blown away.

All the CODs after 4 were all a bit too same old, same old. Plus, being able to choose which level and which server i wanna play on really is a bonus.

Fave levels are Crossfire and Downpour.

Started on CoD 4, didn't really enjoy it. Skipped WaW cos everyone said it was crap, loved MW2 to start with, then hated it with a passion. Black Ops is alright, nout special, not as exciting as MW2 was but not as frustrating either. Instead of noob tubes + danger close it's ghost pro + ak74u in a corner. It's always down to the nobs to exploit annoying setups to counter their lack of talent that ruin CoD for me. I only every play wager matches or barebones now.

Yeah I got bored of Black Ops but I don't really know why, I think it's a great game and do alright at it!

Cod4 cage matches FTW Razz

You playing on the PC then I guess?

The thing that puts me off playing on a computer is that you need a good one (£££) and it seems as though all the mods and hacks come from there! Also I'm so used to the xbox controller now I don't think I could even use a mouse lol.

How much did you get it for? Thumbs Up

Cod 4 was the first Cod where I played online. I was fucking shit at it, to the point where I hated playing it but all my mates were so I carried on. I had three discs of it because I kept scratching them and some discs would play certain maps and others would only play some of the other ones. I have none of them now but was talking to Matt (Agonyst) and he says he'll post me the second copy he has of it so we can start playing it again.

I reckon this time round I'll be 1337 as fuck at it.

Cod 4 online was fantastic fun, only played WaW single player, was not impressed, didn't get MW2 til recently and the online isn't a patch on the first one, and haven't yet got black ops, waiting for steam to release some kind of deal, its way over priced.

Haha yeah Carl me too COD4 was the first game I ever played, I loved it because I was good at objectives, not so much shooting people, my ratio is 0.64 Laughing

I never really played waw online at all, I think I got it when MW2 came out so never bothered.

Thumbs Up

That is when I first started though, I had no idea what I was doing Laughing The people I'm referring to are ones who've played the game way longer than I ever will and yet still use the annoying setups.

I still play it on the PC now and again.

If anyone is up for a bash , I'll be more than happy to join in. Anyone on steam?

On a side note I'm really looking forward to Portal 2, watched the trailer for it, roll on the 21st of April!
