pan european tyre

my old man has a 2001 honda pan european and the rear tyre is 160-70-17

and hes just been given a 170-60-17 off the newer shape pan european..

just wondering if it would make any difference?

It's slightly wider with a lower profile.
Should go on but check the current clearance from the tyre to the swingarm etc.

It won't make any real difference other than as stated the closeness to the sides of the swingarm.

I assume it is not an ABS model?

If it is take it back and tell them to fit the proper one as it will screw up the abs/tcs

yes its the ABS model...

he got it very cheap so looks like he will just sell it on again,,
