CD - Nomadi in concert (double CD of an Italian rock group from the 70's) - obviously with a CD and lots and lots of batteries!

Book - Difficult one ... too many to choose ... guess it depends on the time I have to spend on the desert island ... if a short time than a nice thick horror/SF I have not yet read ... if forever the Britannia encyclopedia - At least I won't get bored and will be learning lots of useful things!!

Luxury item - lots and lots of moisturiser for my skin (Guess it eould suffer too much on a desert isldan ... sun, wind, sea ... )

Book: HHGG. The guide itself would be handy, but I'd settle for just the book.

1. My 16-piece set of classical music CDs (assuming there is a CD player on the island, of course)

2. A book full of empty pages and pens that work. I'll finally find the time to write me own book. Except for the minor distraction of ...

3. My No. 1 chaperone*.

*(of course, this would require Secret Luxury Items No. 4-7, mascara, lipstick, a push-up bra, and lots of conditioner for my sheeplike locks, LOL)

Plus, I might need to visit Korn on the other side of the island to inspect his horticultural efforts from time to time Laughing

1, Album = One of my 'mix' Mini Discs

2, Book = Something blank and a lot of pages so I could write (I'd have to find some charcoal/burnt bark to write with).

3, Luxury item = A large knife so I could eat (but that's presuming I get to take my Mini disc player so I could listen to the Mini Disc!)
