I have a tubeless puncture repair kit that uses little rubber doughnuts as the plugs. Does anyone know where I can buy the plugs from separately. I've searched and can't find any.

I've also seen a lot of repair kits that use a sort of rubber string. As anyone tried them? Any good?

Just been reading this myself, as had a puncture at work, and had a horrendous time getting home on it.

This seems to be the best one i seen.

Any comments on this one from people who used it would be very helpful!

It sounds like you have the Tip-top plugging kit.
Good but expensive and never seen just the packs of plugs on their own.

Strings are ok unless you are using avon tyres which seem to self destruct once punctured and no amount of filling the hole with stuff will stop the leak

Cool, found some. 5 plugs for £8. Expensive I guess but they seem to work well.

Strings were crap for me.

The mushroom plugs were brilliant.
