I use the addon flashblock to stop the vast array of flash adverts you get on some sites that cause my laptop to almost melt down due to very high CPU and memory usage.
Now not every site I want to block. BBC iPlayer, 4OD, Youtube and other sited like BCF and other sponsored sites that I dont mind the ONE add they have on a page, Its the asshats that put like 4 or 5 banner adds on their pages all flash elements that take the piss.

anyway...the problem is that the whitelist function doesnt seem to work. Im not sure if its because its looking at the URL of the page that refered the add and will be displaying it, or if it looks at the URL the add is coming from.
Now if its the latter of those two then WTF is the point of the white list as some of you may know the site www.bcf.com will send make a spot for a flash element to come from www.addcomingoutyourarse.com and whitelisting www.bcf.com will make no difference if the adds are blocked or not but whitelisting them will open the door to all the other sites that use that add firm and negate the purpose of the addon.
If the former of those two things is the case then im ether too stupid to make it work or its borked!

Any suggestions?
The reason I ask is that on some sites you get a placeholder instead and the one on BFC says ill loose karma :S Sad
